Met with Dr. Roberto Pohlenz-Mcbeath. This morning and I felt he was very professional and truly cared about me beginning on my journey to getting the help I so desperately need. I will say that at first I was skeptical about telehealth in general and was very reluctant to seek out medical advice in person as I truly believed that I was simply weak lazy etc . It took literally months of prodding from my friends family and prior co-workers for me to finally accept that perhaps Adhd is real and that I do in fact suffer from it. It wasn’t until my life got entirely overwhelmed by the payload which ever kept increasing and important things such as allowing my son’s insurance to lapse and missing countless specialists appointments that I finally realized ok probably time to look into this matter-I kept pushing everything to the side burner however I truly had no idea that this was not normal and despite how badly I wanted it to be different nothing I could do on my own was ever going to change it. I received my rx promptly from my pharmacy within just a few short hours and I’m looking forward to starting it first thing tomorrow morning. I’m truly grateful to have someone who listened and cared and I’m honestly so excited for this next chapter of my life!
