Hello,
Welcome to my site! I have a unique practice in that I provide services via Telehealth and I travel throughout the state to provide mobile services!
A little about me - around the age of 5 knew I wanted to be a nurse and have had the pleasure of working in nursing for over 35 years. I graduated with my RN BSN from Bellin College of Nursing in 1989 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Throughout my career I have worked in several areas of care along with many states. Areas I have worked in include ICU, surgery, endocrinology, long term and short-term rehab, and psychiatric care in residential, hospital and outpatient working with both hearing and Deaf clients. Working in different areas has been very beneficial with increasing my skills in many assessment areas and expanding my knowledge of medications that I incorporate into care always providing thorough teaching on the benefits and side effects. I enjoy working with all ages, children through elderly.
I earned my Family Nurse Practitioner degree at South University in Savannah, Georgia in 2018 and went right back to Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri for my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree graduating Summa Cum Laude. I also have a degree in American Sign Language.
I was married to a US Marine and lived in many states including Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, and Florida all of which I hope to incorporate into my practice to provide care in those states too.
I enjoy spending time with my two daughters. One lives close in Sarasota, FL and the other lives in Kona, HI.
In my free time I do like to travel, sew, knit, create epoxy pens and tumblers, and paint on sand dollars I collect at different beaches.
I believe that life is a journey, and we will come to many crossroads. It is how you handle the decisions made that can make life positive or negative and I hope that with my care you will have success in having life be a more positive journey.
