Amy Read is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She enjoyed eighteen fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties including neonatal intensive care, pediatric transport, emergency room, and labor & delivery. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and holds a national certification with the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult & Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also a functional medicine practitioner with a specialty interested in Fibromyalgia and has helped many fibromyalgia sufferers gain control over their chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, and the accompanying depression and anxiety related to chronic illness. She also suffers from ADHD and has vast experience in testing and treating clients who also suffer from ADHD. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their optimal health goals through lifestyle, nutrition, and prescription medications when necessary.
